Getting to know Green Apple Hippotherapy team!

Green Apple Hippotherapy, a clinic that believes in the therapeutic effects of horse riding in achieving optimum results in physical, sensory, mental and emotional development.

In Hippotherapy, the movement of the horse is a treatment strategy facilitated therapist to improve muscle tone, balance, posture, coordination, motor development, achieving attention and concentration, communication and overall emotional well being. The movement of the horse is used to facilitate desired responses for repetitive reactions for improving functional outcomes. This multi-dimensional, repetitive, rhythmic movement through space provides a cause and affects opportunity for the patient to respond to. Goals are created by patients, families and therapists and the movement of the horse is modified to facilitate the needed response for each individual patient.

The team is built by passionate professionals involving an over 30 years experienced Pediatrician Consultant, Dr Ali Azman; a Sensory Integration certified occupational therapist; well trained riding instructor and supervised by Pn Iliza who is experienced with children and horses. We believe that this desire needs to supported by a team of professionals, dedicated parents and motivated children in making the therapy process a fruitful, enjoyable and pleasant experience for all.
